Poster Web Connectivity

When discussing Poster we talked about how the web has brought about this idea of connectivity. It is interesting to look at this theory and how much in goes along with the times of today. Through the years being able to be involved in Television shows and music has all become possible because of connectivity through technology of the web and television. We discussed the idea of different television shows and how we can now participate in voting for American idol and any others because of connectivity of Internet and television. Through the web now anyone can blog and create a following connecting and getting ideas out they never would have been before. In cmc 350 social change we are using the web in this way. We are creating blogs about social issues creating followings and posting about television and news articles we find on issues to get the news out there. This relates to poster because it is using connectivity such as hard text, and television and presenting it on the web creating a new world of new easier ways to get information. As technology expands more things are possible and more things are being created. Information is continuously being easier to get a hold of. I like the quote we discussed “ Technology has taken a turn that defines the character of power of modern government” (537). This as well relates to how much people don’t realize you can do with technology. In CMC 350 we are learning how may emails are saved into servers when sent and how anyone can buy the rights to those emails. The government through major servers and the internet can easily get access to anything ever sent through any database such as facebook and yahoo. Privacy is in some way taken away and allows the government and companies to track people and there workings more and more as technology and the web advances, the more people use and put information on the web the more privacy is no longer existing.
